The cottage is small but very cosy and full of character. From the bedroom there is a view across the Lickle valley to Croglinhurst Bank, and it is only a few minutes walk from the excellent Blacksmiths Arms.
Through the front entrance, the cottage opens into a beautifully appointed kitchen and dining area, with a cosy lounge area beyond with a TV & video. The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge and plenty of cupboard space.
From the dining area, the stairs lead to a landing featuring a stone wall with arrow-slit windows. The landing provides access through a low door to the small rear patio garden, and also to the bathroom and bedroom.
The attractive bathroom is equipped with a large electric shower, toilet and washbasin. A Velux window ensures that the room is light and airy. An electric shaving point is also provided.
The bedroom has a view across part of the farm to the hills beyond, and is equipped with a comfortable bed which can be either kingsize double or twin beds, together with matching soft furnishings.
